Ladies, if we must be honest with ourselves, we've held on to some relationships longer than we should have. For one reason or another, we decided to stay. Sacrificing our happiness in the process. Maybe you didn't know exactly "why" you wanted to leave the relationship...you just KNEW you had to go. Maybe you stayed longer because the kids loved him, and you didn't want the children to suffer, or maybe because your mom loves him. Maybe you decided to stay because he's a good provider...But, what's best for YOU? How do YOU feel? And WHEN is it time to let go?
Letting go can be so final, hurtful and debilitating...yet necessary. It sounds so easy to say: Let go...put in the work to heal...forgive...move on emotionally, mentally and grow Spiritually. And most importantly, learn to love YOURSELF. Learn to love yourself so that you may know what proper, unconditional love feels like.
I've heard it said that: "what you go looking for, runs from you". I truly believe that. Because after you have put in the work to heal your mind, body and soul there is no need to go looking for love because love will find you. Once you've HEALED your childhood trauma and wounds, you begin to vibrate on a higher freeequency.
Your natural frequency will be so high, that you won't have to "go looking for love"...you will naturally draw those on your same frequency, wanting the very same thing you want. In other words, you will run into people "that's on, what you on".
Of course every situation is different so takes what resonates with you and leave the rest for the next MF :)
When It's time to let go:
1) When you're constantly drained, instead of energized...it's time to let go sis.
2) You have addressed issues, and yet nothing changes...it's time to let go sis.
3) When you've come to the realization that you are NOT in love with him/her...it's time to let go sis.
4) When you already KNOW deep in your Spirit, it's time to go. If you stop, pause, listen within..."you been knew". (sic).
